EMDR KJ goes Barnahus

It was a pleasure to give a workshop on "EMDR for Children and Young People at Barnahus" at the Barnahus Forum in Tallinn, Estonia. Barnahus is known in Germany as ChildhoodHaus ( https://www.childhood-de.org/childhood-haus/ ) . It offers children and young people who have experienced violence the opportunity for interdisciplinary care under one roof – police, justice, medicine, pediatrics, psychotherapy, forensics, legal medicine, and more. I am enthusiastic about the Barnahus concept and delighted that EMDR will be even more widely used in care. It's an exciting Europe-wide project.

Another highlight was that my son was able to accompany me for the first time. He participated as part of the "Child Participation" program, which offered a different kind of mother-son time, and of course we also explored Tallinn – definitely worth a trip.
